It allows family members to contribute as and when information becomes available without requiring them to send it to a central 'custodian.' At the same time, it allows the general public to view your tree (subject to the restrictions below) to see if they match. PhpMoney is a tool to manage bank accounts thru a web interface. openBiblio is a high powered, fully scalable, and highly customisable open-source bulletin board package. phpBB has a user-friendly interface, simple and straightforward administration panel, and helpful FAQ. WebCalendar supports a rich set of business class features, including proprietary features like corporate calendar and calendar dependency. It includes a calendar server, an email reminder system, a task manager, a diary system, a contact list manager and a notes manager. eGroupWare is a free enterprise ready groupware software. It provides calendar, knowledgebase, content management system, address book, project management, and inventory tools. It is available in 25 languages. More simply, WordPress is what you use when you want to work with your blogging software, not fight it. pMachine is online publishing's most flexible and creative software. Gallery is a web based software product that lets you manage your photos on your own website. With Gallery you can easily create and maintain albums of photos via an intuitive interface. Photo management includes automatic thumbnail creation, image resizing, rotation, ordering, captioning, searching and more. Albums and photos can have view, edit, delete and other permissions per individual authenticated user for an additional level of privacy. It's great for communities - give accounts to your friends and family and let them upload and manage their own photos on your website! Coppermine Photo Gallery is a picture gallery script. Users can upload pictures with a web browser (thumbnails are created on the fly), rate pictures, add comments and send e-cards. The admins can manage the galleries and batch add pictures that have been uploaded on the server by FTP. Support for multimedia files has been added recently. Images are stored in albums and albums can be grouped by categories. The script supports multiple users and each user can possibly have its own set of albums. The script also supports multiple languages and has a theme system. AutoIndex AutoIndex is a PHP script that makes a table that lists the files in a directory, and lets users access the files and subdirectories. It includes searching, icons for each file type, an admin panel, uploads, access logging, file descriptions, and more. Small utilities for network services Advanced Poll is a polling system with powerful administration tool. It features: multiple polls, templates, unlimited options, multi-language support, IP-Logging, IP-Locking, cookie support, comment feature, vote expire feature, random poll support and more. Supports textfile and mySQL database. BBclone is a web counter written in PHP. It looks similar to Big Brother Webstats. But it is not *just* a counter: BBClone gives a detailed view of the visitors of your web site. It does it by displaying the n-th last users (and the data they provided, like their IP, browser and so on) that went of the web site, not just showing a number of visitors. This is very handy for slow to medium traffic web site webmasters that want to see who visit their sites, what browser people use, where do they come from etc. Please note that it's very design, BBclone is not useful for high traffic websites where you only need agregated data. phpBB3 is the latest installment in a seven year long package lineup. Like its predecessors, phpBB3 is feature-rich, user-friendly, and fully supported by the phpBB Team. phpBB3 greatly improves on what made phpBB2 popular, and adds commonly requested features that were not present in previous versions. MIVA Merchant Five - Professional online store. osCommerce is an online shop solution that offers a wide range of out-of-the-box features that allows online stores to be setup fairly quickly with ease, and is available for free as an open source based solution released under the GNU General Public License. The Web Shop Manager allows you to manage a fully functional online store from a centralized web-based administration system. Drupal Drupal is an open source content management system which supports pluggable modules which enable additional behaviors. The modules available for Drupal provide a wide assortment of features, including e-commerce systems, photo galleries, mailing list management, and CVS integration. TYPO3 is developed by the Danish programmer Kasper Skaarhoej. It is the most advanced GPL Content Management Framework available, and competes very successfully with commercial products costing US $50.000. TYPO3 is distributed under the GPL license, however Kasper has expressed certain aims for the system which we ask you to respect (see typo3.com for more information). Mambo is an Open Source CMS system. phpWebSite provides a complete web site content management system. Web-based administration allows for easy maintenance of interactive, community-driven web sites. phpWebSite's growing number of modules allow for easy site customization without the need for unwanted or unused features. Client output from phpWebSite is valid XHTML 1.0 and meets the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative requirements. XOOPS XOOPS is a program that allows administrators to easily create and manage dynamic Web sites. Siteframe. is a lightweight content-management system designed for the rapid deployment of community-based websites. With Siteframe, a group of users can share stories and photographs, create blogs, send email to one another, and participate in group activities. Siteframe enables this by providing web-based content management so that anyone can create content without needing to learn HTML. PostNuke is software that creates an impressive, dynamic Web site and provides the Webmaster with a site they can administer with a minimal amount of HTML knowledge through a Web browser.
